Introducing Myrtle Beach's Premier Murder Mystery Show that leaves audiences wanting more. Only available at The Asher Theatre, it’s “Murder at The Cotton Club” – a spectacular WHODUNNIT SHOW with an amazing twist. The backdrop is New York City’s legendary nightclub – The Cotton Club – which was the most celebrated music and dance spot from the 1920s–1940s and featured some of the top entertainers of the era including, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Lena Horne, and even the Nicholas Brothers.

Everyone is a suspect and attendees will all have a chance to help solve the murder and win a prize, too!

Does this all sound exciting? Well, it gets even better.

We have 4 open slots available per show night. 2 slots for the Deputy Detectives who want to test out their investigative skills and have fun helping Detective Benson to solve the case; and 2 slots for the Co-Star Spotlight which are the crooners, songbirds, musicians, and dancers who love to perform professionally or just at karaoke – and you get to perform all while your party and the whole crowd cheers you on! If you’re interested in the Deputy Detective or Co-Star Spotlight roles, you may purchase either option along with your general admission ticket, and instructions for your segment will be emailed to you prior to the night of the show.
