Growing up on the banks of the Nanticoke River then moving to the beaches of Charleston, SC Rachel has always been a free spirit and lover of the water. She looks to the natural world around her for inspiration in her art. Her passion for creative expression keeps her constantly inspired and excited for her next creative endeavor whether that is a custom wedding dress, a collaborative photoshoot, an inspirational workshop, or consulting for a like minded businesses.
Rachel's design career began when she exploded onto the Charleston fashion scene in 2008 when she was chosen to debut her collection at Charleston Fashion Week's inaugural Emerging Designer Competition. It didn't take long before Rachel became known for her feminine, elegant and free spirited designs. After much success with custom orders, Rachel opened her King Street Design Studio in the heart of downtown Charleston where she is still creating magic today.
Rachel currently offers one of a kind custom wedding dresses and specializes in heirloom sewing for the bride who truly wants a unique gown that embodies her love story. Her passion for creating wedding dresses is not only for her love of design but also for her love of love.
