The Jeremiah Henry Kendrick
Event Details
The Jeremiah Henry Kendrick Memorial Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Master Jeremiah who suffered from sickle cell disease and lost his battle July 18, 2010 after a bone marrow transplant. Jeremiah loved volunteering in his community and excelled academically. In honor of his life, this scholarship was developed to provide financial support for students who have been affected by Sickle Cell Disease and have the desire to pursue a college degree. The Inaugural Scholarship Brunch brings donors and prospecitive recipients together to honor the generosity of donors and celebrate the academic achievements of previous scholarship recipients. This event gives the Foundation an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ and offers the recipients the opportunity to discuss their academic and career aspirations as well as share their journey regarding sickle cell anemia.
